TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: September 21, 2026.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Cap Cort is a music production house based in Medellín, Colombia. These terms cover your use of capcort.com and everything you can get from it: beat licenses, exclusive licenses, mixing and mastering, and the free downloads. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. Each license you buy also comes with its own License Agreement; if these terms and that agreement ever say something different, the License Agreement wins for that license. You need to be 18 or older to place an order. If you’re younger, a parent or guardian has to make the purchase for you and agrees to these terms on your behalf.

2. Orders and prices

Prices are in US dollars and don’t include any tax, currency conversion or bank fee that your country or your bank may add. Payments are processed by PayPal; we never see your card or PayPal credentials. Every order gets a Cap Cort order number (CC-…) and a receipt by email. We may decline an order that our systems or PayPal flag as fraudulent.

3. Delivery

Everything we sell is digital and delivered by email to the address you enter at checkout. Your receipt and your License Agreement arrive right after payment; your files follow by email. If nothing has arrived, check your spam folder first, then write to support@capcort.com with your order number and we’ll sort it out.

4. Licenses

A license gives you the right to use a beat under the terms of its License Agreement. It doesn’t transfer the beat to you: Cap Cort keeps ownership of every beat, and a non-exclusive beat can be licensed to other artists at the same time. Every license we issue has a Cap Cort license ID (CC-L-…) that you can verify at capcort.com/verify. Three things every license shares: you can release your song anywhere; the credit “Produced by Cap Cort” goes on it; and you can’t sell, lease or give away the beat on its own. Non-exclusive licenses also can’t be registered with Content ID or any similar system.

5. Upgrades

While the beat is still on sale, you can upgrade a license to a higher tier for the same beat from the beat’s page, using your license ID. The upgrade price is the new license’s list price minus a credit for the one you already hold. Each license can be upgraded once, the new agreement replaces the old one from that moment, and an upgrade to an exclusive isn’t available this way.

6. Exclusives and offers

Some beats are offered exclusively, each with its own price or by offer. “Make an offer” is a request, not a purchase: nothing is reserved until we accept it and the offer is paid within the time the offer code allows. When an exclusive is paid, the beat leaves the store immediately. An exclusive doesn’t cancel non-exclusive licenses granted for that beat before that date: they stay valid under their own terms, and the Exclusive License Agreement says so.

7. Free downloads

The tagged MP3 of any beat is free to download so you can write, record a demo and try things out. It stays a demo: it isn’t for releasing, selling or registering anywhere. The full terms are at capcort.com/free-download-terms.

8. Mixing and mastering

The service is available for a song recorded on a beat you’ve licensed from Cap Cort, and it’s purchased per song. Once we have your files, you usually get your vocals mixed and your song mastered within 72 hours, depending on the studio’s queue, with two rounds of revisions included. Deliverables arrive by email. By sending us your files and your instructions you’re confirming that you want the service and that you’ve read how it works. If you bought the service by mistake, write to us before sending your files and we’ll refund it. Once your files are in and the work has started, the service can’t be cancelled or refunded. Everything you send us stays yours, and you’re confirming you have the rights to all of it, including any samples or other voices in it. You’re giving us permission to work on those files to deliver the service, and if something in them infringes someone else’s rights, that’s on you. What we deliver follows the terms of your beat license.

9. Discount codes

A code applies to one order, may be limited to certain beats, licenses or a first purchase, and has no cash value. We can withdraw a code at any time before it’s used.

10. Refunds

All sales are final, because everything we deliver is digital. When you place an order you’re asking us to deliver your files right away, and you agree that once delivery starts there’s no right to cancel or withdraw, except where the law where you live says otherwise. The exceptions are a double charge and a mixing service bought by mistake, before any files are sent. The details are in our Refund Policy at capcort.com/refund-policy.

11. Licenses issued before September 2026

If you licensed a beat from Cap Cort before our store opened, your license keeps the terms you agreed to at the time. You can ask for its Cap Cort license ID with “Find my licenses” on the site; we only send it to the email address the license was issued to.

12. Using the site

The beats and instrumentals on capcort.com are Cap Cort’s music. You may not copy or extract audio from the site except through the free download, use bots or automated tools against it, or resell anything you get from it outside your license.

13. No warranties, limited liability

The site and its content are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, Cap Cort’s liability to you for anything related to the site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This doesn’t limit anything a License Agreement expressly provides.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Orders are governed by the version in force when you placed them. These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia and any dispute goes to the courts of Medellín, Colombia. This doesn’t take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
